I've been arranging since 2003, but my experience with a cappella singing goes back to my early childhood when I would harmonize to my older sister's singing.
At sixteen, I joined the Thoroughbreds, an internationally acclaimed all-male barbershop chorus in my home town of Louisville, Kentucky.
I also sang baritone in a number of barbershop quartets, including three that competed at the international level:
The Sensations, The New Sensations, and Seventh Avenue
I am currently the musical director of two barbershop choruses:
The Kentuckians (since 2002) (BHS)
The Heart of Kentucky Men's Chorus (since 2008) (Independent)
I live in Lexington, Kentucky with my wife, Denise.
