I've been arranging since 2003, but my experience with a cappella singing goes back to my early childhood when I would harmonize to my older sister's singing.

At sixteen, I joined the Thoroughbreds, an internationally acclaimed barbershop chorus in my home town of Louisville, Kentucky.

​

I also sang baritone in a number of barbershop quartets, including three that competed at the international level:

The Sensations, The New Sensations, and Seventh Avenue

​

I am a retired barbershop chorus musical director.

I live in The Villages, Florida with my wife, Denise.
